"Worthy is the Lamb" - fine art print ~ In the hush of Good Friday, before the veil is torn and the stone is moved, the Lamb rests, not in weakness, but in surrender. He lies upon an altar not built by human hands, ashes and dust, the weight of a fallen world, the very ground that bears the curse now holds the offering. “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.” John 1:29 His posture is quiet, yet resolute. Eyes lifted, not in resistance, but in perfect agreement with the Father. A holy yes. “Not My will, but Yours be done.” Luke 22:42 “He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth; He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth.” Isaiah 53:7 He is the Lamb without blemish, the fulfillment of every shadow cast through generations, every sacrifice, every altar, every longing. The One found worthy. “For you know that it was not with perishable things… but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” 1 Peter 1:18–19 Around Him bloom the anemones, three crimson, three white, a living testimony written in petals, blood poured out, sins washed clean. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” Isaiah 1:18 Three and three, the whisper of the Trinity, Father, Son, and Spirit, woven into redemption’s design. The altar of death becoming the birthplace of life. “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” Revelation 5:12 And in this stillness, we are invited to behold, not just the suffering, but the surrender that made a way.
