The cables let you connect your Bear Sentry to the terminals of a vehicle battery, or 12V LiFeP04 battery like those we list for you here. 3. Use the transformer to set up at home. But it’s not water proof, and neither is the energizer. So take extra measures to shield them from the rain if you want to secure seasonal attractants, like a bird feeder. For continuous use (ex. around a chicken coup or apiary) we recommend a waterproof transformer that can handle exposure.
