Dingbat House in Culver City

Another Dingbat House from my long-running series. Fun fact: these buildings are both charming and controversial in LA. Half the population wants them torn down due to the risks they pose in an earthquake, they’re essentially just overhangs with minimal structural support, while the other half wants to preserve them as an iconic part of the city’s architectural history. I can see both sides, so whatever happens, I’ll keep drawing them as a way of preserving them in my own little way.
