Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Relic Previously Owned By Jeff Tweedy 1999 - Olympic White
Here we have a really cool Fender Custom Shop ’60 Stratocaster Relic, previously owned by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. This guitar is in very good condition overall. Specs include an alder body, maple neck, slab rosewood fingerboard and mint guard. It has Kluson style tuners, a vintage tremolo bridge and a 5-way selector switch. It’s loaded with a set of Seymour Duncan Custom Shop single coil pickups. The guitar is a relic, aged at the factory, with the finish removed off of the back of the neck. It looks to be a 1999 build, done just after the Cunetto era when Fender took aging in-house. It has clearly been used over the last 25 years, but does remain in very good condition overall. This guitar weighs 7lbs 9oz. The neck measures .760 to .880 at the 1st and 12th. It has a classic early 60s C carve to it, true to vintage. The guitar has other cool vintage appointments like a rounder 7.25” radius, vintage fret wire, and mint guard. It ships in TKL hardshell case with stickers on the outside. It includes the tremolo arm as well as a letter of provenance from the previous retailer.
