In this blend, the silky softness of alpaca comes to the fore, while the wool contributes to the dimensional stability of the garments. Both fibers are untreated, meaning they have only been washed before dyeing and not chemically pre-treated. This brings out the natural properties of the fibers best and results in a better fit and texture. DROPS Nepal is spun from three strands and produces a rustic and beautiful stitch pattern. The yarn is easy to work with for both knitting and crocheting and is also well suited for felting. The felted pieces have an even and soft surface. DROPS Nepal also includes some mix colors. This effect is achieved by mixing different colors during carding before the yarn is spun. How do I care for this yarn? Hand wash, max. 30°C / Dry flat This yarn has an Oeko-Tex® certification (certification number 23.HPE.36896), Standard 100, Class II, from the Hohenstein Institute. This means that the yarn has been tested for harmful substances and is harmless to humans and the environment. Class II means that the yarn is suitable for direct skin contact over a large area, as is the case with tops, mattresses, etc.
