Port Storm single malt whisky, batch 13

Waubs Harbour Port Storm maritime whisky, 48%, Batch 13. Bold & decadent yet delicately balanced. A touch more fruit-forward than batch 12, with notes of rich sultana, heaps of treacle, golden syrup & dried stone fruit. Yum. A unique complexity coming from the play between predominantly ex-Tawny Port French Oak casks, balanced with just a small amount of ex-Bourbon American Oak casks. This is something a little bit special yet easy drinking for the everyday occasion. Only 687 bottles in the entire release, this special single malt whisky was matured right here at Waubs Harbour, just metres from the ocean and covered in salty air.
