Wednesday Watercolour for Beginners 4 - 6:30pm

A ten week course starting Wednesday 6th January. The class will be held in the main studio of Cheltenham School of Fine Art on the first floor of Camargue House, 32 Wellington Lane, Cheltenham GL52 2AG. There is free 4 hour parking around the nearby Pittville Park or NCP parking at North Place. Course Detail A ten week course for beginners or improvers in watercolour. This practical, hands-on course will cover the basics of expressive watercolour painting: materials and equipment, washes, negative painting, edge control, layering, colour mixing. We will also look at aspects of composition and develop strategies and techniques for successful picture-making. Demonstrations and practical exercises will be provided to help participants develop technique and move towards producing lively, satisfying work.
