Crafted from single-origin cacao grown in the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountains in Soconusco, Chiapas, Mexico, this bar celebrates one of the world's most historically significant cacao-growing regions. The Soconusco region has a rich cacao-growing heritage dating back centuries, when cacao was highly prized by the ancient civilizations of Mesoamerica. Today, small-scale farmers continue this tradition, cultivating cacao in the tropical landscape of southern Mexico. Carefully roasted and crafted at our factory in Tucson, Arizona, these exceptional beans are transformed into a beautifully balanced 70% dark chocolate. The result is a rich, complex chocolate with deep brownie-like notes complemented by tropical mango, ripe plum, and the delicate sweetness of sugarcane.
