Terres de Reves Flower Pot Small
Nadine Dewart is a Belgian artist, born in Canada and based in Brussels. Her work is shaped by international experiences and an ongoing exploration of materials, forms and techniques. Plants are her primary source of inspiration. Rather than reproducing nature literally, she captures its vitality and unpredictability through expressive, organic forms. For Serax, this resulted in Wild Vegetal Variations, a collection of vases and plant holders where this fascination comes to life. Wild Vegetal Variations is a collection of ceramic vases and plant holders rooted in a love for plants and flowers. Nadine Dewart wanted to design pieces that go beyond functionality, where the vegetal shapes and motifs become part of the object itself. Each piece is hand-shaped in white clay and painted with underglazes, before a transparent glaze gives it a soft, glossy finish. The colors are inspired by nature: soft greens, earth tones and gentle blues. The forms are round and generous, designed to hold flowers and plants with ease. This flower pot is part of the Terres de Rêves studio collection. Defined by hand-painted drawings, soft tones and an organic shape, it is shaped through collaboration and craft. Celebrating the quiet beauty of the handmade, it adds a gentle and artistic presence to any interior. Material: Stoneware Many of Serax designs are finished by hand, this may lead to irregularities and is considered a part of the uniqueness of each piece. L 30 W 30 H 21 CM Weight: 4,0 KG
