It reads as a rich solid from across the ballroom and gives up its detail the closer someone gets.The neckline is a deep sweetheart. The sleeves are proper bishop sleeves, full through the arm and gathered into a cuff, so they billow every time you move. The skirt is a gathered circle that takes up a great deal of room, which is entirely the point. Two deep pockets hide in the seams, so it earns its spot in Thanks, It Has Pockets.
