Avlea Trim No. 014 - Greek Braid metallic trim

This beautifully intricate metallic trim comes from a small Greek mill and is a favorite finishing seen in many vintage Greek folk textiles. A classic braid trim that is great for applications in which you do not want a header. It can be hand or machine sewn. The antique gold is a classic color favored in folk embroidery and provides an elegant glow to natural fibers! Use small stitches and a lightweight sewing thread like Aurifil 50. Press to set after sewing.
