Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Sweet Berry Roasted in Scotland
Farm: Sweet Berry is a project started in 2021 to provide fresh, clean drinking water to villages we source some of our coffee from. The profile remains the same, but the beneficiary villages will change as we go. For 2025/2026, the beneficary is Adame village. Just north of Yirgachefe town lies the Adame washing station, and north of that, the village of Adame itself. Smallholders surrounding the area deliver their cherry to the washing station, and this is what makes up Sweet Berry. High-Altitude Terroir: Cultivated at over 6,100 feet in the southern highlands, where rich soils, steady rainfall, and cool mountain air create prime conditions. Heritage Varieties: Features prized indigenous heirloom varieties, delivering the classic sweet, floral, and complex profile that defines world-class Ethiopian coffee.
