This stunning silk and wool scarf was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in Nepal. It features a silk scarf with hand felted wool throughout and is very soft and warm. This gorgeous piece is truly a work of art. Patterned silk scarf covered with merino wool felting. Measures 72" x 11" Please note: Each scarf is handmade and unique, so while the general design will be similar, exact colors and patterns will vary. The shades of green will vary also (see photos for examples). There may be red, orange and black as well. ABOUT THE ARTISANS This scarf was handmade in a fair trade women's cooperative in the Himalayas. The artisans use traditional Nepalese felting techniques to embellish the silk, creating a stunning effect. The women are paid fair wages, work in safe, healthy conditions and receive job training skills.
