Made with 40s count handspun and handwoven fabric and punctuated with a unique pattern of motifs created through a combination of ori nui and maki nui shibori. - Handmade in 100% cotton. - Yarn handspun on a multi-spindle charkha, woven on a handloom is also called 'Khadi'. - The fabric is handwoven on a pit loom in Bengal. - Ori-nui and maki-nui shibori is created by stitching and tying the fabric.The resist motif is created through binding and capping on the fabric. - Medium indigo is achieved through a blend of indigenous ingredients from The Indian landscape including Indigo and myrobalan flower solutions.
