Matilda Teak Chest with Bookshelf

The Matilda Chest is one of those rare pieces that feels as though it has stepped straight from the pages of a favourite storybook. Its flowing silhouette, gently curved top and playful wooden arms give it a wonderfully whimsical character, while thoughtful details make it as practical as it is beautiful. Designed with children's bedrooms and playrooms in mind, it's a piece that sparks imagination while keeping everyday essentials close at hand. Handcrafted from sustainably sourced solid teak by one of the Indonesian family businesses we have proudly worked alongside for many years, the Matilda Chest is finished in a warm natural teak finish that celebrates the beauty of the wood. Four compact drawers are perfect for storing small treasures, stationery, craft supplies or bedtime essentials, while the open bookshelf keeps favourite stories within easy reach. One of its distinctive wooden arms supports a charming circular shelf, perfectly sized for a nightlight, alarm clock or treasured keepsake.
