Drifting Back - West Coast DIPA

Drifting Back is a brand new West Coast Double IPA that we have assaulted with a cheeky combo of Simcoe Cryo, Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic & Strata. This one starts with a clean malt base to really let the hops do the talking, pouring a light amber gold, with a tight white head. Bursting out the glass, we’re getting punchy resinous pine and orange rind in classic West Coast fashion. That’s backed up with waves of tropical fruit; passionfruit white wine and a lick of dank sweetness. Take a big ol' sip and those same punchy West Coast resinous notes deliver in spades, with plenty of complimentary stonefruit sweetness and cannabis-like dankness lingering mid-palate. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied without being too sweet and sticky, with a spritzy carbonation, and a warming classic west coast double IPA finish that’ll have you drifting back to thoughts of the classics of this style.
