The stretch nylon face fabric moves with you and slides easily over baselayers and mid-layers, and snaps on the placket make it quick on and off as the day warms up. Storage runs deep for a mid-layer: two zippered fleece-lined handwarmer pockets, two top-access snap pockets, a zippered chest pocket and two interior dump pockets.
