2023 Domaine Jobard Morey, Meursault Les Tillet

Burgundy, France | 100% Chardonnay | 91 RP Les Tillets sits high on the slopes above Meursault, where shallow, stony soils and a south-easterly exposure give the wine a naturally fresh and mineral character. Produced from 60-year-old Chardonnay vines, the generous 2023 vintage is balanced by the freshness and tension of this elevated site. Aromas of citrus blossom, peach and pear are layered with lemon zest, toasted nuts and subtle florals. The palate is silky and energetic, with fine acidity and a long, mineral finish. Beautifully approachable, yet with the structure to develop through 2028–2032.
