The Hayachine Non-Stick Wok

Stamped aluminium body: Thickened one-piece build that heats fast and evenly, with a flat dotted base so there are no hot spots Maifan stone-effect non-stick coating: Physical non-stick, so food releases with barely any oil Tempered glass lid included: Stainless steel rim, lets you watch food without lifting and cover down for steaming or a slow simmer Heat-insulated handle: Stays cool to the touch, with a hanging hole so it stores flat against the wall Two sizes, both dishwasher safe: 24cm feeds 1-3, 28cm feeds 1-4, both induction-ready and both come with the lid Grey non-stick wok Grey non-stick wok made for everyday cooking. The thickened aluminium body is stamped and formed in one piece, so it heats quickly and evenly, and the flat dotted composite base spreads that heat right across the surface instead of leaving cold patches. The sides are deep (7cm on the 24cm, 8cm on the 28cm), which keeps ingredients in the pan when you're stir-frying hard rather than flicking them onto the hob. The coating is a maifan stone-effect finish. It's a physical non-stick, so a little oil is enough to keep food from sticking. Underneath sits a thickened composite base with an encapsulated stainless steel layer, which is what makes it work on every hob including induction, as well as gas, ceramic and electric. It's light too, light enough to toss one-handed. The bakelite handle stays cool while you cook and has a hanging hole for wall storage. You also get a clear tempered glass lid with a stainless steel rim, handy for checking on food at a glance and for keeping the lid on during a simmer. It's dishwasher safe, which is unusual for stone-effect cookware, though a quick hand wash keeps the coating at its best. Free recipe guide included Your wok comes with a digital book of 20 recipes: Chinese stir-fries, Thai curries, vegetable noodles, steamed fish. Good for anyone just getting into Asian cooking, and enough range to keep experienced cooks busy too.
