Mahogany Jardinière

This elegant mahogany jardinière provides a refined way to display a favourite plant, vase or decorative ornament while adding height and character to a room. Its slender profile makes it well suited to a hallway, sitting room, conservatory or entrance, where it can create an attractive focal point without taking up much floor space. The piece features a square platform top with softly rounded edges, supported by a tall, turned column. Decorative carved detailing adds interest beneath the top and around the base, while the shaped, fluted lower section leads into a tiered circular plinth for a stable and balanced finish. The warm reddish-brown tones of the mahogany complement both traditional and eclectic interiors. The previous finish has been stripped away and lacquer applied, enhancing the natural colour and grain while providing a durable, easy-to-maintain surface. Some marks consistent with age remain, along with a knock on the base which adds to the item’s individual character. This item is made entirely from solid mahogany. With its classic proportions, decorative craftsmanship and practical display surface, this jardinière offers a distinctive way to introduce height and warmth to an interior. It would make an appealing addition to a period-inspired or characterful home. [dimensions][w]22[/w][h]117[/h][d]22[/d][/dimensions]
