Mid century Oil on Canvas by Elie Bernadac 1913-1999 French
A large-scale example of this is a well-listed artist's work. The painting is in perfect condition and framed. Very rare to see this size of his work. 60 x 100 cm Elie Bernadac was born in Auch, France in 1913 and grew up with the fine arts thanks to his grandfather Henri Bernard Cross, who was a renown pottery artist. Bernadac became an expert painter using the palette knife to put heavy thick stokes of paint on canvas. He was a master of light and color and most of his compositions involve seaside cities or boats on the water. Elie Bernadac died in Nice, France in 1999.
