The Celestial Garden Lehenga

Start with the skirt because it demands it. The full-circle lehenga is mapped in large arched garden panels, each one bordered in gold zari and filled with hand-embroidered suns, florals, and celestial motifs in pastel lavender, mint, pink, teal, and gold. The panels repeat around the full circumference, floor-length, closing at the base with a wide gold zari border that holds the entire composition together. Above it, the strapless blouse is an entirely different study. Row upon row of chevron-stacked beadwork in gold, teal, lavender, and pastel multicolour covers the structured sweetheart body from neckline to waist. At the hem, fine crystal and bead drops hang in a delicate fringe moving with every breath, catching light from every angle.
