The Lasertec 3DG is a self-levelling multi-line laser level that projects three bright green 360° lines, supplied as a ready-to-use kit with mount, target, glasses, rechargeable battery and carry case. It suits builders, installers and keen DIYers who want fast, clear horizontal and vertical reference lines for layout and alignment work.About the product The 3DG uses a pendulum self-levelling system and throws three full-circle lines set 90° apart, so you get level and plumb references around the whole room from one setup. Green beams are easier for most people to see than red, which helps in brighter indoor spaces. If the unit is tilted beyond its levelling range, an out-of-level alert warns you so you can reset it before marking or measuring. It runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack and has a pulse mode for use with an optional detector (sold separately) when the beam is hard to see, such as outdoors.Where to use it Indoors: setting out wall and ceiling lines, fitting cabinetry, shelving and tiles, aligning doors, windows and partitions, and general fit-out work. Outdoors: levelling and aligning fences, decks, pergolas and similar jobs, ideally paired with a laser detector to extend visibility in daylight.How to use it Insert the charged lithium-ion battery pack, then slide the locking switch to the unlocked position to switch on and start self-levelling. Press the line mode button to cycle through the horizontal and vertical beams. Mount the laser on the supplied magnetic mount, or fix it to a tripod using the 1/4 inch thread on the laser or the 5/8 inch x 11 thread on the mount. For outdoor or bright conditions, press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds to enter pulse mode and use a compatible detector. Lock the pendulum when moving or storing the laser.
