Hydrofarm Jump Start MTPRTC Thermostat — the Rack-Room Workhorse for Heat Mats & Tape

Before the budget clones, there was this one. The Jump Start MTPRTC is the name-brand digital thermostat that rack rooms have run on for years — the one breeders ask for by name. The original workhorse: Hydrofarm's controller has managed heat mats and heat tape in breeding rooms for over a decade Digital set-point control: set the temperature, place the probe, and the MTPRTC holds the line Built for racks: one per row of heat tape or mats — the standard architecture of a ball python or boa rack 4.6 stars, 3,700+ ratings: a long track record, not a new listing Distinct company: it sits alongside our BN-LINK and INKBIRD controllers as the name-brand original of the three Good to know: on/off style control — for heat mats and tape, that's exactly right. Proportional control is the step up for radiant panels and bulbs. The thermostat racks are built on. That's the ShopperBear way.
