Venus Flytrap Pendant

Patience rewarded. A Venus Flytrap opens across the face of this oval pendant, rendered in shades of green and pink enamel. A single diamond rests in its jaws, as though the trap has just claimed its prize. 18k yellow gold with a brushed satin finish. White Diamond (VS-FG .04 carats total). Vitreous Enamel. Pendant (including bail) is approximately 21mm long. (Medallion alone is 14mm.) Custom engraving available. Made to Order. Craft & Technique: Each piece is hand-enameled using the champlevé technique — a traditional kiln-fired process in which glass enamel powder is carefully layered onto gold and fired multiple times, gradually building depth to achieve nuanced gradients and rich color. The surface is then filed and polished smooth. Slight variations in the enamel mean every piece is truly one of a kind.
