The polarity of the existing framed or track-mounted magnetic strip is difficult to identify before removal. You need a matching magnetic pair, rather than a single magnetic strip. You need up to 2000mm per strip. Choose another seal if: Your glass thickness falls outside 4–6mm or 8–10mm. Your shower door requires a specific 90°, 135° or 180° glass-to-glass magnetic profile instead. Your existing seal is non-magnetic. You need a bottom seal or standard vertical water-deflecting seal rather than a magnetic closing pair. Why Two Glass Sizes Are Included MH410 is designed for replacement situations where an existing framed or track-mounted magnetic shower seal is still part of the enclosure. Older framed shower doors can make two things difficult to confirm before the old seal is removed: the exact glass-fit size and the polarity of the existing magnetic strip. For that reason, MH410 includes two matching magnetic pairs of the same profile design, made for two different glass thickness ranges: 1 pair for 4–6mm glass 1 pair for 8–10mm glass Within each pair, the two magnetic strips have opposite polarity, allowing them to attract each other correctly when installed. Use the pair that matches your glass thickness. The unused pair can be kept as a spare or temporary replacement if needed. All four strips are supplied in 2000mm lengths and can be trimmed before fitting.
