Once both profiles are established, the standard paternity comparison runs at 24 DNA genetic markers with dual processing, exactly as it would with two cheek swabs. How Reliable Is a Paternity Test With Two Toothbrushes? Accuracy on the comparison itself is identical to any other paternity test at our accredited lab. When paternity is confirmed, results show 99.999% or higher. When paternity is excluded, exclusion is 100%. The added risk in this kit isn't accuracy, it's that both samples have to pass viability.
