Neutralyze Face Wash is a daily gel cleanser for acne-prone skin, built around DuoClear™, our 2% salicylic acid + 1% mandelic acid system. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that is oil-soluble, so it reaches into the pore to deep-clean it, help clear acne and breakouts, and help prevent new ones. Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) with a larger molecule, so it gently exfoliates the surface. It controls oil and cleans thoroughly without leaving skin feeling tight or stripped. Ingredients: Water, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Salicylic Acid, Acrylates Copolymer, Sodium Chloride, Mandelic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Glycol Distearate, Laureth-4, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sorbic Acid How to Use: Patch-test first: for the first 3 days, use a small amount on one or two small areas. Wash: wet your face or body, squeeze a small amount into your hand and massage it into skin for 1–2 minutes. Rinse and dry: rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. Let skin dry fully before applying other Neutralyze products. Start slow: use once a day, then build to one to three times a day as needed. If dryness or irritation occurs, cut back. FAQ: How is this different from a regular face wash? A regular cleanser only removes dirt and oil from the surface.
