Softbait Kit - Entry

This ready-to-fish softbaiting combo pairs the Assassin Allure Spin 7M rod with the Shimano 23 Sedona 2500HG reel and XBRAID Upgrade X8 Pentagram braid — everything you need to cast and work soft plastic lures with precision and confidence.Rod: Assassin - Allure Spin 7M Softbait RodThe Allure Spin 7M is purpose-built for softbaiting, delivering the sensitive tip action needed to detect takes and impart lifelike movement through soft plastics. At 7 feet, it offers the casting reach to cover flats, estuaries, and structure effectively. The medium action balances lure feel with enough backbone to drive hooks home and handle quality fish.Reel: Shimano - 23 SEDONA 2500HGThe 23 Sedona 2500HG brings Shimano's proven G-Free Body design, shifting the centre of gravity closer to the rod for reduced fatigue during a full session of casting and retrieving. The HG (High Gear) ratio delivers a fast, efficient retrieve to keep pace with active soft plastic techniques. Hagane Gear construction ensures smooth, durable power transmission cast after cast.Line: XBRAID - UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAMXBRAID's Upgrade X8 Pentagram is an 8-carrier braid engineered for superior roundness, smoothness, and casting distance — all critical for softbaiting performance. The tight Pentagram weave maximises sensitivity, transmitting every bump and tap directly to your hand. Its low diameter and high strength-to-weight ratio make it an ideal match for a 2500 reel and light soft plastic presentations.Three components dialled in for one technique — this combo suits both weekend anglers and dedicated soft plastics enthusiasts chasing snapper, kahawai, or trout. Grab yours and hit the water ready to fish.
