It is not often we see Aberlour botted by an independent, so this is an exciting opportunity to try Aberlour through a different lens. Tasting Notes: Nose: Ripe plum, stewed orchard fruits, quince paste and hints of raisin loaf with soft spice. Palate: Layers of dried plum and sultanas, candied nuts, Werther’s Original caramel and rich toffee sweetness. Finish: Lingering dark fruits, gentle baking spice and warming Christmas cake richness. Overall: This is an exceptional example of Aberlour's Speyside character, definitely worth a try for all lovers of sherried Speyside whisky.
