Sungate - White Zinfandel

Sun Gate is the product of expert negociants who have selected, vinified and blended to create a consistent rose wine in perfect conditions. Zinfandel grapes, ideally suited to the Californian climate, are selected from across the vineyards of California’s Central Valley and are carefully vinified for a short time before removing the grape skins. Although Zinfandel is a red grape variety, the rose version is confusingly named White Zinfandel. Grape: White Zinfandel Tasting Notes A deep pink rose that offers an attractive bouquet redolent of summer fruits including strawberries, raspberries and watermelon. The palate is medium bodied with a hint of sweetness and flavours of red cherries, raspberries and strawberries and cream. The confected fruit flavours are balanced by a refreshing acidity and linger on a crisp finish. The wine is made with protective techniques to ensure the fresh character of fruit comes through. Enjoy Delicious on its own, or with cold poached salmon, grilled chicken salad, barbecues. ABV: 10%
