Village Weavers "Midnight Loom" Scarf

The "Midnight Loom" scarf is anchored with deep blue indigo. The hand spun, white cotton threads run in both directions (warp and weft) randomly, giving it a clear handmade texture. UNISEX Our "Village Weavers" fabrics are handwoven in northern Laos in a centuries old tradition using only natural dyes. The women weaving these textiles are supported by farmers who grow the cotton, the gatherers who hunt for the natural dyestuff, and the traditional colorists who prepare the threads in vats of dye. The colors come from a wide range of sources such as persimmon, mugwort, onion peel, tea, soil, leaves, bark, and of course indigo, the most prominent. 100% cotton ~16" W x 72" L Best: handwash cold with mild detergent, and air dry. Alternatively: Machine wash gentle cycle in cold water with like colors and mild detergent. Machine dry low temp. Iron if desired on medium heat.
