Learn to Embroider - Botanicals for Beginners (Aug 29)

Date: Saturday 29th August 2026 9am-1pm Due to popular demand, we have added an extra workshop date! This embroidery workshop is designed for the absolute beginner. Bee will walk you through learning ten embroidery stitches, along with other embroidery basics such as tracing onto fabric, knotting your threads and finishing off. Once you have learnt and practiced your stitches, you can pick one of five botanical designs to further practice your stitches, whilst taking home a beautiful finished piece to display. Supplied in the workshop is a worksheet with the stitches you learn to take home with you, hoop, fabrics, needle and threads. Tutor: Bianca (Bee) Escobar (@embroiderwithbee) who is a succesful embroidery artist based in Christchurch Full information will be sent out once class booked.
