The Gatehouse W3-1 Rear Access Letterbox for Gates and Fences is a larger-capacity version of the bestselling W3 rear access letterbox range. Designed for mounting onto gates and fences, this secure lockable post box is ideal for properties that receive regular or higher volumes of mail. With a deeper 16.2L collection box, the W3-1 offers more internal mail storage than the standard W3 while keeping the same practical rear access design. Mail is posted through the front chute and retrieved securely from the rear, making it a strong choice for gated properties, fence lines, driveways, and boundary entrances. Made from galvanised steel and thermally powder coated for enhanced rust resistance, the W3-1 is built for long-term external use. The mail chute has a depth of 25mm. If you require a larger mail chute, the W3-2 may be a more suitable option. The W3-1 is available in Black and Dark Grey RAL 7016. The dark grey powder-coated finish has a smooth matt appearance, while the black powder coating has a slightly textured gloss finish. This model is also available with a trim, which gives the letterbox a clean finish when a hole is cut into a gate or fence.
