You’ll receive a Pre-release box that includes all the cards you need to play in the event. § Open for all players to enter § Opportunity to see cards before the official release date § Relaxed environment ideal for casual players Each Build & Battle Box includes a 40-card ready-to-play deck featuring key cards from current and prior sets and features one of four unique foil promo cards. It also contains four Pokémon TCG: Mega-Evolutions Pitch Black booster packs and a deck-building tip sheet. Players are allowed to modify the deck using the cards found in the booster packs. Although they retain an element of tournament structure, pre-release events are designed to be casual events, suitable for any standard (or age) of player.
