These Eastman models are the best way for gigging and serious jazz players to get a hold of a professional level archtop. The 810 series are 17" models and have a carved spruce top as well as solid figured maple back and sides. The Johnny Smith floating pickup makes plugging in a breeze, and this example is in great shape with some light wear to the thin nitro lacquer finish.
