Atlantique is the IGP title covering red, white and ros wines made in a large area on the west coast of France. While the land here is a veritable carpet of vines, the production of IGP wines is just a small portion of the output: this wider area is more famous for being home to the hallowed vineyards of Bordeaux as well as those of Cognac. The climate here is definitively maritime, with the Atlantic Ocean providing both warmth in winter and cooling influences in summer. Tasting Notes: This Sauvignon Blanc is a pale yellow color with green hues. Aromatically bright, featuring notes of green pineapple, crushed nettle, apple, freshly crushed mint, with tropical undertones. Textural mid-palate, fruit sweetness and a finished balance with a clean dry edge and persistent flavor on the finish.
