Anthurium sp. 'Morona'

GROWN BY ARIUM!! This crop was started from seed, originating from our very own shop plant (self pollinated)! Anthurium sp. 'Morona' was one of our first permanent shop plants, growing alongside us over the years. We are so excited that now you too can grow a special piece of Arium! This Anthurium is an unsubscribed species native to the Morona region of Ecuador. It grows long, strapy, ruffly foliage that often has a thick leather-like quality as it matures. An unusual and stunning specimen! Care: These will grow best in a bright filtered light. Avoid low-light areas and harsh direct sun. Water when the top 1-2"~ of soil is dry, roughly every 7-10~ days while taking care to adjust frequency as needed.
