1980’s Opulent Hand Stenciled Black Cocoon Coat Size 10

Opulent was a San Diego based company that hand stencil and painted leathers and suede. The design of this coat is a 1920s inspired. Can picture it on the silent screen. The rounded shoulders taper to a dolman sleeve. The cuffs and hem as well as the collar are knitted wool. The silver and gold floral stencil is hand done. Each of the stencils is applied separately and is extremely time consuming. That is why their garments are highly collectible.
