“And All the World Was Mine” Gold Bracelet

“I found you and I loved you, And all the world was mine.” —Paul Laurence Dunbar, “A Golden Day” This endearing line from a poem by Paul Laurence Dunbar has been hand-cast on a 14K gold vermeil bangle (2.5" diameter, 0.125" width). There are three small 14K-gold wire loops on the bracelet. The designer handcrafts her jewelry collection in a solar-powered studio in Southern California. Each design is sculpted out of clay, and the clay model is then cast in reclaimed metals using the ancient art of lost wax casting. Paul Laurence Dunbar (1872–1906) was a pioneering American writer and one of the first major influential Black American poets to achieve international fame.
