Antique American Quilt - Basket

A gorgeous 1930s or 40s basket quilt, set on-point against a cheerful blue ditsy floral background. Each basket block is pieced from a different combination of Depression-era cottons from clothing and feed sack fabrics in coral, navy, green, cream, plaid, and gingham. The diagonal straight-line quilting runs cleanly across the whole surface.
