Cheaney Tiger Moth II 2 C in Black Kudu Leather or Whiskey Kudu This seasons Tigermoth II draws inspiration from one of Cheaney's most classic archival designs, Tiger Moth, originally released in 2015 as part of Cheaney's 142 Aviator Collection. This men's military style mid-calf derby boot features a 7 eyelet, 4 ski hook fastening, punched toe cap detailing, full leather lining and has been updated for the season to feature a durable double commando rubber sole. The boots have also been finished in exotic Kudu leather, renowned for its hardwearing structure but supple fit. KUDU LEATHER Kudu leather is the hide of a large species of antelope native to the woodlands of eastern and southern Africa. Due to their grazing patterns amongst thorny brush and the fact that all the hides originate from hunted, wild kudu, their hides will often display scars and scratches that makes each skin characteristically unique. The leather is incredibly strong but surprisingly supple, with a highly-textured, pebbled and glossy finish. This exotic leather will also age beautifully, with a distinctive patina forming with wear and natural scuffs and scrapes giving the footwear a rugged, vintage appearance.
