Made from the same 8 oz. cotton cloth used in our Joe McCoy Sportswear T-Shirts, the JERSEY GYM SHORTS are constructed using 100% cotton sewing thread. They feature an elasticated waistband for comfort and are finished with a single rear pocket. Simple cotton gym clothing had become standard equipment in American training spaces by the mid 20th century. School athletic programmes, boxing gyms and barbell clubs all favored practical garments that allowed freedom of movement during calisthenics, running drills and weight training.
