8.50mm Baroque Engraved MCM Japanese Saltwater Akoya Cultured Pearl Necklace - Sterling Silver 23 Inch

This is a strand of large vintage baroque Japanese saltwater akoya cultured pearls and sterling silver. The pearls measure 7.75-8.50mm with good luster and bright pink overtones. Some blemishes, tails and other features that come with baroque pearls. Cream to off white color. The clasp is gold plated solid silver and stamped "STERLING". Quite a bit of the gold plating has worn off. Very unique shape and hand engraving. A single 3mm pearl is set in the center. Total length is 23 inch. From mid-century. All pearls are truly vintage and have only been lightly cleaned and restrung.
