We love a unique stone - one that screams personality with all its lungs. This fabulous royal blue natural sapphire is it. The way that the table has been cut to highlight those growth lines so it looks like an arrow of blue and white lines pointing. Move the ring and they disappear leaving a more opaque darker blue ring. Move it again and the silk inclusions flash in great bright lines of white - telling us this natural stone has never been heated. Claw set 8 great pointy claws we love the contrast of the round stone, to the angular pointy claws, and the flat band and the way they all catch the light. A great vintage example of a native stone in a simple claw set band. Particulars: Size L1/2 or 6 - might feel more like an L or 5.75 due to width (sizeable) Weight 2.49g Width 7.9mm round on a flat band tapering of 4.2 x 0.7mm Stone is 6.5mm - approx 1ct Hallmarks "9CT" Condition - stone features silk inclusions and a fabulous L shape growth pattern - both suggesting stone is natural, light surface wear and scratches. Multi claw rings are obviously a little scratchy - on knits etc. Care - As a general rule - jewellery should not be worn for strenuous tasks that may put pressure, chemicals and weight on them (think cleaning, gym, swimming/spa, carrying things). Jewellery should be inspected checked every six months by a jeweller to check for wear. Please be aware that this item is pre-loved and therefore is NOT new.
