From Page to Stage: Creative Writing for Young Performers at Starbright Center for the Arts

Write On! & Starbright bring you a one-of-a-kind creative experience: From Page to Stage: Creative Writing for Young Performers ~ July 6-10 from 12:30 -3:30 PM at Starbright Center for the Arts in Pilot Point ~ 110 S Washington St, Pilot Point, TX 76258 Designed for writers entering 3rd through 12th grade in Fall 2026, this in-person-only camp invites young writers to explore storytelling inspired by musicals, plays, and live performance. Throughout the week, campers will discover how stories move from the page to the stage through journaling, character creation, script writing, parody, and visual storytelling. Writers will learn how dialogue, voice, and performance bring characters and stories to life. The week concludes with an Author’s Chair Celebration Performance, where writers may choose to read, act out, or sing a piece they created during camp. *Spaces are limited and updated on STARBRIGHT's registration page.
