Le Pergole Torte 2022

The ultimate wine from this producer, and one that is only made in exceptional years. The Sangiovese is fermented in concrete and is matured over two years in a mixture of Slavonian and French oak before bottling. If ever there was a wine to lay down it was this one, taking pride of place in any cellar collection as it continues to unfurl over decades to come. Something very special indeed.
