As always, thanks for choosing MONSTER! ******************************************* There is a collective rejoice among collectors every year when Topps announces the new Series 1 flagship set, and there are similar cheers among prospectors now that 2026 Bowman Baseball is on the way. As the first licensed product focused on recent draftees and other prospects, Bowman annually makes its mark with “1st Bowman” cards, an expansive Refractor rainbow, electric insert chases, and plenty of signatures. Collectors can expect one autograph per hobby box, and three in every jumbo box. 2026 Bowman Baseball Checklist Overview Established veterans and major-league rookie cards make up the 100-card standard base set. There will be parallels for these cards, but no Chrome versions (those will come later in a standalone release). Short-printed Bowman Red Rookie Card variations make their second appearance after a successful launch in 2025. These cards can be redeemed for Fanatics FanCash at a later date if a player meets certain career milestones. The other main portion of the product features 150 prospects, and this is where the “1st Bowman” cards come into play. These up-and-comers have both standard base issues and Chrome cards, each with their own unique parallels — including the expansive Refractor rainbow collectors have come to expect. Variations include the return of Etched-In Glass, which bring a stained-glass effect to a card’s background. As popular as prospect base and parallels cards are among collectors, it’s the autographs that command the most attention — Chrome Prospect Autographs in particular. A long list of prospects — including Ethan Holliday, the No. 4 overall selection in the 2025 MLB Draft — have signed for this release. Collectors often find special inscriptions sprinkled throughout the prospect autographs, including full-name and “My First Bowman Auto” versions. Select players will also have limited Gold Ink Variations that include blacked-out borders, golden backgrounds, and bold on-card signatures. Additional autograph concepts include Chrome Rookie Autographs and Packfractor Autographs that include 1989 Bowman Baseball wax pack theming in the background. Tough insert chases have also become a staple of the flagship Bowman brand, and many collector favorites are back for another year. Popular Anime inserts are back — including versions with a World Baseball Classic twist. In addition to traditional Anime inserts of baseball’s top stars and rookies, there will also be WBC themed versions that showcase certain players representing their home country. Another twist? Kanji Variations with Japanese characters on the nameplate for Japanese players in the set, including Shohei Ohtani and Munetaka Murakami. Bowman Spotlights once again put the focus solely on the player, who is featured against a black backdrop under the beam from a spotlight. Crystallized inserts also make a return, placing players against backgrounds that resemble the sparkling inside of a geode. Among the new concepts to the product are Patchwork and Electric Sluggers. 2026 Bowman Baseball cards at a glance: Cards per pack: Hobby – 8; Jumbo – 28; Mega – 7; Value – 10 Packs per box: Hobby – 20; Jumbo – 12; Mega – 6; Value – 6 Boxes per case: Hobby – 12; Jumbo – 8; Mega – 20; Value – TBA Set size: 100 cards Release date (subject to change): May 13, 2026 What to expect in a hobby box: Autographs – 1 What to expect in a jumbo box: Autographs – 3
