Countess of Minto’s Royal Presentation Brooch
Circa 1910 Measurements: 35mm x 30mm Provenance: Mary Caroline Elliot-Murray-Kynynmound, Countess of Minto CI, DStJ (1858-1940), Vicereine of India, and Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Mary. Blue guilloché enamel on yellow gold circular panel, overlaid with GMR cypher in white gold and pavé set with diamonds for George V (reigned 1910-1937) and Queen Mary, contained within a pierced white gold laurel wreath set with rose-cut diamonds and further encircled in a row of seed pearls, all beneath the Imperial State Crown in white gold, rose-cut diamonds and red enamel.
