De La Rue Onoto in blue pearl and black marble, Gold trim - Fine semi-flex nib

The photos above are of the actual pen we are offering for sale here Dating from the mid 1930s, this is a De La Rue Onoto plunger filler in blue pearl and black marble with gold trim This is fitted with the De La Rue Onoto #3/ST 14k fine gold nib which produces a line of around 0.4mm. This nib has a degree of flex to it as suggested by the length of the nib tines forward from the venthole This has been lightly used and is in excellent overall condition with clear barrel imprints as shown in the photo above This fills from an ink bottle using the plunger filling system and does not take cartridges. We have serviced the pen and fitted new cork seals to the barrel, a new plunger washer and also fitted a new plunger rod. We will enclose a copy of the filling instructions with the pen Condition B/1f - (Ref 13336) See our Condition Grading Scale We have fully serviced this pen which includes disassembling the pen and ultrasonically cleaning all the parts. We then reassemble the pen and fit new seals, check the ink flow and the smoothness of the nib. We also check and adjust the tightness and positioning of the clip.
